FAQ
Frequently asked questions about our doe
Is Doe safe to eat raw?
Yes! Our doe is safe to eat as we use a pasteurized egg product. The difference between pasteurized eggs and unpasteurized is that pasteurized eggs are heat treated to kill harmful bacteria. We also use heat-treated flour. Raw flour can contain bacteria like e. coli or salmonella so it's important to heat treat flour for safe consumption.
How to store my cookie doe? Can I travel with it?
Our cookie doe should be stored in the fridge or freezer because it has perishable ingredients. If you choose to refrigerate it then it will potentially last up to three weeks. If chosen to freeze it, then it should be eaten within three months.
If you plan to travel with your doe, we recommend freezing it first and then using a cooler or freezer bag.
Can you bake the cookie doe?
Absolutely! Preheat your over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 - 12 minutes until done. Please note that some of the ingredients, such as our chocolate caramels, can melt down in the oven.
